Shauna began her day at her sister’s home not to far from where the ceremony took place at St. Raymond de Penafort Parish in Mount Prospect. There were many little bride-to-be’s watching Shauna prepare for her big day which made for some cute photos. Anthony started his day at the reception venue, The Glen Club in Glenview.

There were many tiny intimate moments between Shauna & Anthony especially during the ceremony which a few we captured. You can tell that these two are truly made for each other. We were running a bit short on time between the ceremony and reception but we were able to sneak in some fun photos at a nearby Glenview Park and topped it off with some breathtaking sunset photos at The Glen.

Some cool details… While The Glen Club doesn’t need much dressing up, Yanni Design Studio did an amazing job with decor. It was a nature theme with lots of greens and wood accents which worked well together along with the menu, escort cards, and table signs all blending with the theme. Guests enjoyed late night sliders and pretzel treats along with an ice cream sundae bar. Shauna & Anthony also showed off their engagement photos with a nice guestbook. You can check out their Engagement Photos here. See more of the amazing details on our FB Page!

Congratulations Shauna & Anthony! We know how important photography is to you so we thank you for trusting us with your most important day!

We’re back again at the amazing Armour House in Lake Forest. This was a golden day, the sun shining so bright upon Katie & Matt and this truly was the perfect venue for them, as this is Katie’s home town. Preparations began at Armour House where the two exchanged gifts, Matt getting a golf club bottle opener and custom cuff links from Katie, which Katie receives a beautiful bracelet for “something blue”. They opted to do a first look on the Armour House staircase to make sure we have enough photo time to take advantage of the amazing surroundings. We then took a short ride to St Patrick Catholic Church for the ceremony. Immediately after the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a perfect outdoor weather cocktail hour while the wedding party took more photos, exploring more photo op areas.

Some fun details…Their pug Olive made an appearance sporting a collar bouquet to match the wedding party. Katie’s niece and nephew were the flower girl and ring bearer, certainly something special to have on your wedding day. While they had a hard time at the beginning of the day, they walked proudly with big smiles down the isle. There was a collection of previous generation wedding photos in very aged photo frames, again something we very much enjoy looking at. Photos get better and better over time! The champagne color theme was a perfect complement to Armour House’s elegant dining room. You can see more of the beautiful details on our Facebook Page.

Congratulations Katie & Matt! I immediately connected with your sweet personalities the day we met and we’re so happy to be the ones to document your wedding. Thank you for having LOP!

A cold outdoor wedding day in June. That’s Chicago weather, never know what’s going to happen. But the sun was definitely shining on Katie & Eric’s faces as they saw each other for the first time. With the threat of rain, we were lucky enough to get the green light for an outdoor ceremony. Thanks to all their guests toughing out the windy Halloween weather. The Hoopah barely held on. Katie & Eric are such a fun couple to be around. Their contagious excitement and laughter for each other makes it easy to have fun memories to capture.

Some fun details…The couple gave Katie’s parents a picture frame with their old wedding photo along with space for Katie & Eric. They changed to some awesome colored chucks that they sported on their engagement session which you can see here. Their very unique cake and table welcomed the guests as they walked into the reception. They were prepared for a hot summer day treating the guests to a cute lemonade jar. The escort card table had a nature wood theme matching with the cake table. Eric surprised Katie with a special song accompanied by his dad. So much more to list so just visit their Facebook album here.

Congratulations Katie & Eric! It was so much fun photographing your creative journey with so many unique details. Thank you for having LOP!

While this wedding was held in private grounds, we thought it would be a shame to not show off the great job they did.

Some of us I’m sure at some point dreamed of a wedding celebration in your own backyard. Sharon and Omar actually pulled it off in a big way.

Guests were first greeted with a complimentary valet parking and a bar stocked with top of the top shelf drinks. The décor was perfect. From the ground to the centerpieces by Bokay Flowers, all elements came together in harmony. Their guests enjoyed gourmet BBQ buffet from Bub City finished by a surprise treat from a Chicago original, Rainbow Cone. Thanks to Le Spose Di Angela for making sure all the details came in place for everyone to enjoy.

But most importantly, family and guests enjoyed each other’s company most. There was certainly a big reason to celebrate and as you can see, there were plenty of smiles and tears shared around their backyard. Congrats Sharon & Omar and thanks for having LOP!

Jolie and Dan’s day started at the Sheraton Hotel & Tower by the river and also ended the day by the Chicago river at one of the coolest venues downtown, the River East Art Center. It’s certainly a delight to be inside this modern and urban structure.

After the ceremony at Assumption Catholic Church, Jolie surprised her father with a bagpiper and you can see the great reaction he expressed as they start the recessional. We then made a stop at The Kerryman Chicago Irish Bar, the spot where they first met, for just a few photos. A bar tender ran outside and crossed the street to give the couple a complimentary cocktail. Props to Kerryman for the sweet gesture!

Two things to say about Jolie & Dan, and their family & guests… (1) Both sides of the family are well knit and (2) they sure know how to celebrate. Their family just soaked in the day and enjoyed every minute and it’s evident with all the expressions we caught. And their guests never left the dance-floor the entire evening. And you can see that throughout all the photos. Mission accomplished! Thanks Jolie & Dan for letting us capture everything!

Lindsay & Chris are one of the most caring couples you’ll meet and their careers are a testament to that. They tended to everyone around them while it should have been the other way around on their special day. The day started off with a first meet and a very emotional one at that. After all, these two have known each other since before high school and have been with each other for a long time.

We had some major traffic obstacles to deal with throughout the day; Friday rush hour, The Taste of Chicago, and Bon Jovi. But in the end all that really mattered was a sunset ceremony coupled with some nice sunset photos to complement their sunset engagement.

The ceremony was followed by a cocktail reception at the Clark Family Welcome Gallery while the beautiful Café Galileo’s, where the ceremony was held, was transformed into trendy party space.

Lindsay & Chris had plenty of awesome details as you can see but one that stood out most.… she had a brooch bouquet similar to Miranda Lambert’s. In fact it was made by the same person at The Ritzy Rose! How cool is that and wow, the bouquet looked amazing! She also had a delightful cupcake tower from Forever More Cupcakes

Congratulations Lindsay & Chris and thank you for letting us hang out with you for your big day and treating us like friends!
